Native Authors: Susan Powers
One of my favorite books is by Susan Power called the ‘Grass Dancer’. It is a brilliant story about a 4 generations of Native Americans whoses lives are all intertwined in this great Spirituality that Natives have. It is a beautiful story.
Susan Powers, a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe is also a Harvard Law Graduate, who is now teaching at Hamline University for Creative Writing.
PS: I want this book!!!!
I am hoping she writes more novels. She is a fantastic writer. I am now going to try and find ‘Strong Heart Society’ and will write about it.
