My opinion on this all…

Yes.. He and the producers should have done better research.. And yes, it sucks that the part could have gone to someone else. But JD is NDN, he is proud (as much as someone who has not ‘connected’ yet) and he shows that by producing this flick and other Native Flicks including The Brave and Dead Man…

So this is my opinion, he fought hard to get this movie made. And to have Tonto as the lead character. He put his own money up. So lets show Hollywood that ‘Native’ movies on the big screen are capable of making money. Support it. Go see it. Buy it when it comes on DVD. And then maybe someday…. Our movies will be made.
